NEET UG 2024 Registration

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to launch the registration process for the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. This exam serves as a standardized entrance test for undergraduate medical programs across all medical institutions. Scheduled for May 5, NEET UG assesses candidates in four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. Each subject is divided into sections A and B. Section A comprises 35 questions worth 140 marks, while section B contains 15 questions worth 40 marks. The examination holds a total score of 720 marks. Registration for the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 will commence shortly, as announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam serves as a standardized entrance test for undergraduate medical programs across all medical institutions. Scheduled for May 5, the registration process will require various documents for completion.

Students who wish to appear in the medical entrance exam will be required to submit the following documents during registration process-

  1. Scanned images of candidate’s recent passport size photograph
  2. Postcard size photograph
  3. Signature, left and right hand fingers and thumb impression
  4. Category certificate (if applicable)
  5. Citizenship certificate (if applicable), PwBD certificate (wherever applicable) and Address proof (Present and Permanent Address)

The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

Scanned category certificate (if applicable), Citizenship certificate (if applicable), and PwBD certificate (wherever applicable) should be submitted in pdf format.

The size of the scanned passport photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

The size of the scanned postcard photograph (4”x6”) should be between 10 kb – 200 kb.

The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

The size of scanned and left and right hand fingers and thumb impressions as per the  template provided should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

The size of the scanned copy of class 10 pass certificate should be between 50 kb to 300 kb.

The size of the scanned copy of the Citizenship certificate/Embassy certificate or any Documentary proof of Citizenship certificate should be between 50 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).

NEET UG 2024: Documents Required During Application Process

For the NEET UG 2024 registration process, candidates will need to furnish certain documents. These typically include:

  1. Identity Proof: Any government-issued ID such as Aadhar card, passport, or driver’s license.
  2. Date of Birth Proof: Birth certificate or any official document indicating the candidate’s date of birth.
  3. Academic Qualification Documents: Mark sheets or certificates of Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
  4. Category Certificate: For candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC, a valid category certificate is required.
  5. Disability Certificate: If applicable, a disability certificate issued by a recognized medical authority.
  6. Passport-sized Photographs: Recent passport-sized photographs meeting the specified requirements.
  7. Signature: Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature as per the specified guidelines.
  8. Other Relevant Documents: Any other documents specified by the exam conducting authority for verification purposes.

It’s essential for candidates to ensure that all documents are authentic and meet the specified requirements to complete the NEET UG 2024 registration process smoothly.
